Oracle upgrades its Fusion platform with AI Agent Studio: The next generation of enterprise automation is here
Oracle has announced the launch of Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, a comprehensive platform designed to empower enterprises to create, extend, deploy, and manage AI agents and agent teams.

This new addition to the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite provides user-friendly tools that enable customers and partners to develop customized AI agents tailored to address complex business needs and drive significant productivity gains.
"AI agents are the next phase of evolution in enterprise applications, and just like with existing applications, business leaders need the flexibility to create specific functionality to address their unique and evolving business needs," said Steve Miranda, executive vice president of applications, Oracle. "Our AI Agent Studio builds on the 50+ AI agents we have already introduced and gives our customers and partners the flexibility to easily create and manage their own AI agents. With the agents already embedded in Fusion Applications and our new AI Agent Studio, customers will be able to further extend automation and ultimately, achieve more while spending less."
Key features of Oracle AI Agent Studio include:
Agent template libraries: Pre-built templates and natural language prompts simplify the creation of AI agents for various business scenarios, such as the opportunity to quote, return order processing, and shift scheduling.
Agent team orchestration: Enables the setup of multiple agents to collaborate with human users on complex tasks, with pre-configured templates and customizable checkpoints and approvals.
Agent extensibility: Allows users to modify and expand Oracle's pre-packaged AI agents by adding documents, tools, prompts, or APIs to meet specific industry and business requirements.
Choice of LLMs: Provides access to a variety of large language models (LLMs), including those optimized for Oracle Fusion Applications like Llama and Cohere, as well as the ability to integrate external LLMs for specialized use cases.
Native Fusion integration: Offers direct access to Oracle Fusion Applications APIs, knowledge stores, and predefined tools, streamlining the development of enterprise-ready agents while preserving business logic.
Third-party system integration: Facilitates connectivity with third-party agents through secure APIs, supporting both immediate and long-running processes.
Trust and security framework: Ensures agents operate within a secure environment by enforcing Oracle Fusion Applications security configurations, policies, and access controls.
Validation and testing tools: Enables users to verify and monitor results within AI-driven workflows, ensuring reliability, repeatability, explainability, security, and performance.
The announcement has garnered strong support from Oracle's partner network and industry analysts.
“AI-powered innovation is enabling our clients to reinvent processes and transform the way they work, driving a new performance frontier,” said Lan Guan, chief AI officer at Accenture.
"The new Oracle AI Agent Studio is an impressive next step for Oracle’s AI strategy," said Holger Mueller, vice president and principal analyst at Constellation Research.
Oracle Fusion Applications Suite aims to help organizations break down silos, standardize processes, and manage critical data on a single integrated cloud platform, leveraging the latest advancements in predictive, generative, and agentic AI.
