Zyxel Networks launches new partner program to accelerate cloud networking growth

Marijan Hassan - Tech Journalist

Zyxel Networks has announced a new partner program aimed at empowering partners to grow and position themselves as leaders in cloud networking. The program builds on the strengths of Zyxel’s innovative product portfolio and its Nebula cloud management platform, offering partners new incentives and resources to transition to managed services and meet evolving customer demands.

Supporting partners’ cloud journey

The new program emphasizes scalability, flexibility, and innovation, enabling partners to expand their managed services offerings while boosting revenues from Zyxel’s solutions, including WiFi access points, firewalls, and switches.

"This is an important milestone in our channel strategy," said Kevin Drinkall, Zyxel Networks’ Director of Marketing and GTM Strategy EMEA. "We’re rewarding partners for their commitment and providing them with AI-driven tools and other resources to help customers innovate and grow."

Key program highlights

  • Tiered Incentives: The program introduces four tiers — Registered, Ally, Prime, and Elite — with benefits scaling based on the number of active Nebula devices partners manage. Partners with over 650 Nebula devices are immediately eligible for Elite status.

  • Pay-As-You-Go Licensing: Prime and Elite partners gain access to a flexible Nebula subscription licensing model, allowing them to adjust the number of devices managed monthly, ideal for fast-growing or project-based clients.

  • Free Entry-Level Nebula: Nebula’s basic features are included with all supported devices, while advanced functionality requires a Nebula Pro license.

  • Expanded Discounts: Partners will enjoy broader product discounts, with additional incentives for those increasing their Nebula installations.

Enhanced benefits for specialized partners

Existing accreditations for Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners and those focused on education and hospitality remain in place. The EliteTech program, designed for individual technical experts, will also continue.

Transition timeline

Zyxel will migrate all European partners to the new program starting this month, giving them 12 months to align with the updated criteria.

"We’re providing ample time for partners to work with our local teams to ensure they fully benefit from the new program," Drinkall added.

Nebula’s role in cloud networking

Zyxel’s Nebula platform is central to the partner program. Designed for remote installation and configuration, Nebula enables MSPs to manage multiple client locations from a single operations center. This multi-tenant capability, coupled with AI-driven insights, makes it a robust tool for modern networking needs.
